With a love for adventure and a creative side that refuses to be ignored, I (Heather Westbrook) approach each day looking to learn something new. My artist foundation began with the drawing of Disney characters as a child before stepping into my first art class my junior year of college. 

 

Through a path of twists and turns, I found myself leading others on adventures in the back country, while time after time being asked to dip into my knowledge from that one graphic design class I had in school when Photoshop hadn't even reached its CS phase of life.

 

In 2023, these two sides of me, the artisan and the adventurer, decided that they didn't have to be at odds with one another. After such a simple yet mind blowing thought, HW Designs was born to explore nature in art and art in nature, capture and highlight the beauty in the natural world and everyday culture, and share its essence through creativity and education.
